Summer Lindman is an artist.
She writes, sings, and paints. For a long time, she believed creativity was something she'd get around to after she'd built a successful life. It turned out creativity was the thing that made that life worth building in the first place.
For years, that part of herself took a backseat to a successful career in the San Francisco tech industry, where she became the CEO of a startup before turning thirty. Leaving that world meant letting go of certainty and beginning the slower, more honest work of becoming herself again.
Her debut memoir, forthcoming from Pink Ink Press, follows that journey through burnout, sobriety, financial uncertainty, a year spent traveling the world, and the search for a life built around creation instead of achievement. Today, Summer lives in Brooklyn, where she fiercely protects her mornings, sings in a Monday night choir, and works as a consultant to support the creative life she's intentionally building.
Marianna Pease
Marianna Pease is the author of two books, Pandemic Mom: Meditations on New Motherhood During The Pandemic and During Divorce and My Year(s) in the Woods: Notes on Healing, Worth & Finding Home Again (Pink Ink Press).
She writes the blog 1-800 Marianna on Substack and lives in the woods with her daughter, rescue whippet and backyard chickens. She is currently working on a new memoir, My First Rodeo forthcoming in Fall 2026 from Pink Ink Press.
She runs the Boston Writer's Salon at The Sea Hag in Harvard Square. She lives in a black, Barbie-dream-house-style home tucked into the woods, complete with a 22-inch disco ball hanging in the living room. There, she hosts authors at her beloved gathering space, lovingly named, “The Disco Barn.”

She is a New Yorker, retired hellraiser, and recovering middle school English teacher. Her writing lives at the intersection of love, ambition, bad decisions, and the quiet, insistent voice that tells you there has to be more. She lives in Jersey City with her husband and too many plants.
